Instead of the usual Bible Study service at 7pm, from 22nd August through to the first week in October we will be having a season of concentrated prayer meetings and no Bible studies on the Thursdays.
Sundays in August & September 2024
As is our custom over a number of years now, our 17:00 service will be a short devotional service of about half an hour after which members present will undertake evangelistic outreach around the chapel.
Thursday 4th & 11th April 2024
As work is scheduled to take place in the chapel grounds over the next couple of weeks there will be no service on the above Thursday evenings. The Sunday gospel services will be unaffected, though there will be no parking inside the chapel gates.
Thursday Services
From the 29th February until, and including the 4th April, there will be no Bible Studies on Thursdays as we will be having a season of prayer. The time is also changing until further notice to 7pm instead of 7:30.
Christmas Gospel Service
Our Christmas Gospel service is on Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th at 10:30. All are welcome to join us.
5th November. There will be the gospel service at 10:30 but no teaching service at the chapel. Thursday 9th there will be no service at the chapel. All services should be back to normal the following week, Sunday 12th November.
Sunday 29th & Thursday 2nd November 2023
Due to internal work in the chapel overrunning there will be no services in the chapel until Sunday 5th November.
Sunday 22nd October 2023
There will be no services in the chapel this Sunday due to internal work inside the chapel running overtime. This is also true for the Thursday evening service on the 26th.
Sunday Services
Both our Sunday services (gospel and teaching) have resumed in the chapel. Social distancing is no longer required and the wearing of a mask is a matter of personal choice for the individual. As has been our custom over the last number of years the 5pm service will be a shorter devotional one throughout September, and this year into October. In past years the remainder of the time has been spent in evangelistic outreach around the chapel seeking to engage people in conversation. Due to continuing anxiety we have found many people are reluctant to talk or take literature from us, so after the shorter devotional service the church will have a time of prayer. We encourage anyone who wants to visit us for the first time to come to our Sunday morning service.
Services at the chapel
Our Sunday Gospel service continues to be held at the chapel. Due to the restrictions we are still unable to just have people turn up without prior arrangement. If you would like to attend on a Sunday morning please use the email link and we will get back to you with further information. Once restrictions are lifted we will begin to have all services at the chapel.
