Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. Jude 3
The form of worship at all our services aims to give due reverence to God, whilst at the same time giving expression to profound Christian joy. The preaching is centred around Christ, and in particular His saving death on the cross, where the thrust of the message is forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ. The church Confession of Faith is the 2nd London Baptist Confession of Faith, 1689.
We use the New King James Version of the Bible, and sing from ‘Psalms & Hymns of Reformed Worship’.
Some changes have been made, to safeguard some who wish to attend both services through the dark, wintry nights—as well as to be of help for those who do not live locally and need to travel some distance.
10.30 - 11.30am Gospel Service
If you would like to stay for the Teaching Service, rather than going home, the break between services will be for a time of fellowship and a light lunch for those who want something to eat.
Coffee, tea, and biscuits will be provided. Unfortunately, because we’re unable to cater for the different dietary needs, you will need to bring your own lunch.
1.00 - 2.00pm Teaching Service
The First Sunday of the month, is the shorter service of the Lord’s Supper. Partaking is for members, and any visitor who is a a member of a like minded church and in good standing in it.
Thursday
11:00 - 12:00pm Bible Study or Prayer Meeting
Alternating Monthly
The earlier time is during the autumn and winter months. Bible Studies are recorded for those unable to attend due to work, study or other commitments.
For a first time visit we recommend the Sunday Morning Gospel Service at 10:30am
There is limited parking on site, permits come into force around the chapel from 12pm on event days at the stadium.
